Drawing and Painting for beginners: Creative hobbies for kids.

Art allows self-reflection, to express your creativity, and to express thoughts and feelings for which words are not enough. Drawing and painting are great hobbies to give you a break from everyday life. You don’t have to be able to draw or paint photo-realistically to enjoy art – if you enjoy the artistic process and create things you enjoy, you are doing everything right. There are many benefits to creating art by drawing and painting.

Good reasons for creative hobbies

  • Drawing and painting can improve your mood. Instead of stressing about everyday things, your focus is on your artwork. This can help you relax and find yourself again.
     
  • They improve your fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. As you have to perfect even the smallest movements to complete the details of your artwork, you can refine your motor skills. This in turn can have a positive effect on other activities that require dexterity and coordination.
     
  • Your cognitive skills improve. Even though drawing and painting are relaxing and even meditative for many artists, you also stimulate different areas of the brain that are responsible for creativity, concentration, and logical, analytical thinking, among other things.

Learn Art: Summer Camp.

To promote drawing and painting, Sky Art Classes is organizing a art summer camp for Kids. The details of summer camp is as follows:

  • Duration : 8 weeks April – May every year
  • Student Age : 4 years to 12 years
  • Classes : 2 classes / week, (2 hours / class)
  • Art medium : Oil Pastel and Color Pencil medium
  • Topic covered : Fruits & Vegetables, Cartoon-Characters, Flowers, Birds, Animals and Still Life
  • Material : Drawing kit Included in enrollment fees.

Registration: Summer Camp.

So what are you waiting for, get ready for the summer of lifetime.

  • Classes will be held at the student’s premises. Students may also participate in week-long camps, with the option to skip the week. Drawing sheets and kit will be provided during the summer camp on our side.
  • All artists participating in the summer camp are required to register prior to the start of the summer camp. The registration fee must be paid before the student joins his/her summer camp.
  • Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Students can only join the class after they have successfully registered.
